Sandhill Kennel has been training world-class retrievers for over thirty years. Founded in 1974 by Hugh Arthur and joined in 1996 by his son Al, Sandhill Kennel has produced 16 field champions and 37 dogs on the National Derby List.

Our goal is to strive for continuous excellence in each and every dog. We do this through our four-step approach:

• Obedience
• Regular Exercise
• Proper Nutrition
• Regimented Training

Our team stresses hard work and determination and believes that a dog with adequate intelligence and physical attributes can be trained and conditioned to perform well.
